Job Summary

We are recruiting an experienced and execution-oriented Sr. Director of Growth Marketing to drive our growth initiatives and expand our market presence.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast worker and excited about growing a company from the ground up. The role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). We are open to full time US based candidates to work as a dedicated full-time employee.  Most of our staff reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zone but we are open to any US location.

The Sr. Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies to increase customer acquisition and overall revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, a passion for driving customer acquisition, and a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize our marketing efforts and deliver measurable results.

This growing company needs a full-time, roll-up-your-sleeves pro with a diverse background scaling an organization through multiple stages (i.e. seven-figure, eight-figure, and nine-figure revenue).  We are growing rapidly and you will have a direct hand in building a performant growth marketing function from the ground up.  

Experience

We are looking for someone that has done this before for this critical newly created role.  

Top 3 things you have done successfully:

  1. Created reporting and analytics on campaigns and growth programs from the ground up, with executive-level reporting
  2. Executed new Account-Based and Outbound Marketing programs from scratch in conjunction with the Sales team
  3. Successfully motivated and oversee a team across events strategy, outbound, paid search and other growth functions.

Other things in your toolbox:

  • been in hyper-growth recurring revenue tech startup companies;
  • able to roll up your sleeves and get things done in early days while also seeing the bigger picture;
  • expert knowledge of SaaS business motions and associated metrics; and
  • a vision of what the organization needs 18-24 months out and can execute the plan to get there.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee robust lead generation programs, including nurturing, digital marketing, and advertising to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Define metrics and build out the right analysis alongside RevOps to measure and report on campaign success, identifying key levers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and deliver executive presentations marking progress, with clear yearly and quarterly goals for the team.
  • Create scalable processes across the rest of marketing and the sales organization including Developer Relations, to align on messaging, campaigns, outbound, ABM, and event strategy.
  • Oversee and manage a significant portion of the overall marketing budget, ensuring strategic resource allocation.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to develop and contribute to upsell and customer renewal strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of paid media and affiliate professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • Develop new capabilities, as dictated by growth tactics, across account-based marketing, paid search, re-targeting, outbound initiatives, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, analytics, and product marketing, to ensure alignment of initiatives with overall business objectives and messaging.
  • Maximize and evolve our MarTech stack and automation solutions to drive maximum efficiency and impact across the team. 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in the Growth function, meeting aggressive revenue targets
  • At least 7 years related experience; prior experience targeting agile, modern software engineering teams (developers) strongly preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Computer Science, and/or MBA highly preferred
  • A track record of recruiting, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
  • Exceptional project management, planning, and budgeting skills
  • A strong sense of urgency and ownership over projects and deliverables
  • Proficiency in multiple CMS and website tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, 6sense, Apollo, Webflow, and more
  • High-level of integrity and a humble ethical person

Compensation

$150k - $200k expected base salary range*

*Pursuant to various state laws, we must display the pay range for this job. Since we are willing to hire within a broad spectrum of qualifications, we also reflect a broad pay range. The expected base salary range that we are targeting for this position can be adjusted up or down based on individual qualifications. Individual salary is determined by qualifications, role, level and location.
